Jamie studied BESS (economics and political science) and graduated in 2011. He spent two years at the Harvard Kennedy School for a Master's in Public Policy. Since 2013, he has been living in Washington DC and working at the World Bank where he focuses on applying behavioral economics to development policy Africa.
Since graduating in 2014 in PPES (Economics and Political Science), Seán wrote Concern Worldwide’s first ever long term country impact evaluation. He has also worked in public policy, providing economic advice on large scale public investment projects. He is currently a Master’s student in the Toulouse School of Economics, where he founded The TSE Behavioural Team- a team which uses nudging to improve public policy. Seán has also completed the entire Duolingo course (French) and has hitchhiked over 2000Km.
Iqra Zainul Abedin
Iqra graduated from the Law & Political Science degree from Trinity College Dublin in 2015, and completed her LL.M. in International Law from NYU in 2016. She has passed the New York Bar exam and is currently working as a Consultant in the Legal Vice-Presidency of the World Bank in Washington DC. She has also worked with the Office of the Advocate General of Punjab, the Irish Refugee Legal Service and the International Refugee Assistance Project.
Alex studied PPES (Political Science and Sociology), graduating in 2016, and is completing a Master’s in Development Practice, jointly awarded by Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin. She attended Georgetown University in Washington DC on exchange, where she worked as a research assistant and interned in the United Nations Foundation. Recently, Alex completed a project with the Mary Robinson Foundation - Climate Justice and is now conducting research on health workers in Ethiopia.
Tom studied MSISS (management science and information systems studies) and graduated from Trinity in 2010. Since then he has worked in consulting at Deloitte and information security at eBay. He now runs the cyber intelligence & investigations function at DocuSign.
Sarah studied Psychology and graduated from Trinity in 2004. She gained a MSc Occupational Psychology from the University of Sheffield in 2008 and a Master's in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School in 2014. Sarah has worked in international development with Suas, the Trinity International Development Initiative, and the World Bank. She is currently based in Dublin and consults on leadership and organisational development focusing on public and social sector organisations
Sarah studied History and Political Science and graduated in 2012. She is based in the US where she has lived since 2013. She spent two-and-a-half years in Washington DC where she worked at Precision Strategies, a firm founded by senior leadership on the Obama 2012 campaign. She is now based in Brooklyn, NY and is the creative project manager on the digital advertising team for the Hillary For America campaign. She is an alumna of the Washington Ireland Program.
Amandine studied BESS (Joint Honours Business & Economics) and graduated from Trinity in 2011. She then worked in investment banking as a mergers and acquisitions analyst for Morgan Stanley in London and Johannesburg. She graduated from the Harvard Kennedy School with a Master's in Public Policy in 2016. Amandine now lives in Washington DC and works for the International Finance Corporation, the private sector arm of the World Bank.
James studied History and Political Science in Trinity and graduated in 2008. He gained a Master's in International Peace Studies and now works as Research and Advocacy Manager with VSO Ireland. He was Chair of the Volunteer Groups Alliance during the development of the Sustainable Development Goals. James is currently working as an advisor to the National Union of Disabilities Organisations of Rwanda, and campaigning for support for Early Childhood Education.
